1. Introduction

Homecare Remodeling ("Homecare Remodeling," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at https://homecareincremodeling.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.

  • Protect our rights, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements

5. Text Messaging (SMS/MMS)

If you provide your mobile number and consent to text messages, we may text you about scheduling, project updates, estimates, and — if you separately opt in — promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers who help us deliver messages on our behalf, and those providers are prohibited from using it for any other purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except as required by law.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, which may include:

  • Essential cookies required for the Site to function
  • Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) that help us understand traffic and usage patterns
  • Advertising and remarketing cookies (such as Google Ads or Meta Pixel) that may be used to show you our ads on other sites, if enabled

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Site work. You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and adjust ad personalization at https://www.google.com/settings/ads and https://optout.aboutads.info.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers and vendors — website hosting, form and CRM software, email and text messaging platforms, analytics, payment processing, and marketing services, each authorized to use the information only to perform services for us
  • Subcontractors and trade partners — electricians, plumbers, cabinet suppliers, designers, and similar parties who need your name, address, and project details to perform work
  • Financing partners — if you choose to apply for financing through a link on our Site, your application is submitted to and processed by that lender or lender network under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review it before applying.
  • Permitting authorities and inspectors — as required to obtain permits and pass inspections
  • Insurers, attorneys, and accountants — in the ordinary course of business
  • Legal compliance and protection — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our clients, or others
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy

8. Project Photos, Video, and Testimonials

We photograph and video-document our projects for quality control, warranty records, and marketing, including our online gallery, social media, and third-party profiles such as Houzz and Yelp.

Marketing use of images of your home is governed by your project agreement and any photo release you sign. We do not publish client names, street addresses, or other identifying details alongside project photos without permission. If a photo of your project has been published and you would like it removed, contact us and we will remove it from channels we control within a reasonable time.

If you submit a review or testimonial, we may publish it along with the first name and general city you provided.

9. Third-Party Links and Social Media

The Site links to third-party sites and platforms, including financing partners, industry associations, Facebook, and YouTube. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Information you share on those platforms is governed by their policies.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Project records, contracts, and photo documentation are typically retained for the duration of any applicable warranty period and for the period required by Minnesota law for construction records, licensing, tax, and statute-of-limitations purposes. Inquiries that do not result in a project are retained for a reasonable period and then deleted or anonymized.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or full financial account numbers through the Site's contact forms or by unencrypted email.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Everyone. You may:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, or texts by replying STOP
  • Decline to provide information, though this may limit our ability to serve you

Minnesota residents. The Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act provides qualifying residents rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling, and to appeal a denied request. We honor these requests regardless of whether we meet the Act's applicability thresholds.

California, Colorado, Virginia, and other state residents. If your state grants comparable rights, we will honor requests to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 17. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

13. Do Not Track

Browsers may transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because no common industry standard for responding to these signals has been adopted, the Site does not currently respond to them.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Users Outside the United States

The Site is operated in the United States and intended for U.S. residents, primarily in Minnesota. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
